Lyndee Cleveland, LM, CPM

Hello, I am Lyndee Cleveland, LM, CPM. I was born and raised in West Texas. I have been married for 12 years to my high school sweetheart, and we have a teenage daughter who is fiesty, fun and keeps us on our toes. 

I am the founder of Oh Baby! Birth & Co LLC, a midwifery practice dedicated to providing personalized care and support to families throughout their pregnancy and birth journeys.

My journey in the birth community began in 2017.  I was pregnant and hired a midwife, seeking a more personal and empowering experience than the one I had with my daughter in a hospital ten years earlier. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage. After my loss, I developed a close friendship with my midwife, who mentored me and deepened my understanding of the profession. This ignited my passion for midwifery and is when I decided to start my formal training in the profession.

I enrolled in Mercy in Action Midwifery School in 2017 and started my apprenticeships with three well-known birth centers in the DFW area: The Dallas Birth Center, Heavenly Hands Birth Center, and The Bump Birthing Center in Rowlett. 

Towards the end of my apprenticeships I started working as a birth assistant to midwives across the DFW metroplex, assisting in near 600 births. This gave me vast exposure to different styles, philosophies, and experiences that went on to shape the way I value and support each of my clients today. I also learned placenta encapsulation during this time and offer this as a service to my clients along with many others in the metroplex.

I finished my schooling and apprenticeships in 2022 and started preparing for the NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) exam.

Transitioning from a career in retail management, where I had spent much of my adult life, into a career in midwifery was unnerving and hard but was one that I felt called to.  

I passed the NARM exam and completed my state requirements, becoming a NARM Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and a Licensed Midwife (LM) in the state of Texas in 2024.Through education and experience, I have now founded my own midwifery practice, Oh Baby! Birth & Co. LLC, as of January 2025

As a midwife, I am deeply honored by the responsibility entrusted to me and the privilege of accompanying women during such a significant and transformative time in their life. I understand and embrace that midwifery is a vocation not suited to everyone, but I know it was meant for me. 

My mission is to empower women by providing the respect, care, and information they need to navigate their pregnancies and birth experiences with confidence. I am dedicated to honoring my client‘s wishes and creating an environment where their birth is intimate, respectful, personal and as special as it can be.  I believe wholeheartedly in a woman’s ability to birth naturally and will support her in that belief every step of the way.
