For those seeking a more natural and intimate birthing experience, we offer home birth services. We provide all the necessary equipment to support and ensure the safety of you and your baby in the most comfortable and familiar of settings. Your birth, your way in the safety of your own home, surrounded by the ones you love. After your birth you will get to snuggle and take in all those special moments with your new baby in the comfort of your own bed. 

If you prefer a birth center setting for your special day we are conveniently located inside The Bump Birthing Center in Rowlett Tx. At the birth center you can feel at home knowing everything is prepared to give you the best birth experience possible. We have two birth suites with large birth tubes, a full kitchen, living room and coffee bar where your family can relax and feel comfortable.

As a professional midwifery practice, we provide comprehensive holistic prenatal care to ensure the health and wellbeing of both you and your baby. With appointments lasting 30-60 minutes, we make sure to give you personalized support, while giving each client the time to get to know and trust us with their care. In your appointments you will receive routine lab work, listen to fetal heart tones, measure growth of your baby, manage symptoms, provide education, nutritional and emotional support while empowering you to make informed decisions about your care. We are here to guide you through your pregnancy journey.

We want you to feel comfortable and safe through your birth journey. On the day of your birth we will be in close communication. We join you in active labor. During your birth we want you feel at ease knowing you have a birth team ready to support you. There is no difference in cost whether you birth in our birth center or your home.

We will remain with you until after your birth where you and your baby are comfortable, fed and ready for sleep. 

Water births are a safe, relaxing and intimate way to bring your baby into the world. It is an increasingly popular method of delivery. The potential benefits include both physical and emotional relief as well as giving you a warm relaxed environment for your birth. Other benefits include reduced pain during labor by relaxing your muscles, helps ease the pressure on the cervix, helps you progress in labor, increases circulation, reduces the risk of tearing, increases mobility and aids in comfort. 

The postpartum period can be a beautiful transition while also being challenging for new parents. We offer postpartum appointments 2 days, 2 weeks & at 6 weeks. We give support to ensure a smooth transition for you as parents and for your baby. In your postpartum appointments we will make sure you and your baby are healthy and recovering well. We will offer breastfeeding guidance, emotional support, newborn & CCHD screenings on your newborn. We are here to make the transition into parenthood as smooth as possible and are always here to help. 

If you have had a previous cesarean birth and are hoping for a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). We believe in your ability to birth your baby! 

If you are having Twins or have have found out that your baby is breech. We believe both of these are variations of normal and will work with you to create a birth plan that takes into account your specific needs and concerns while providing education, resources, and emotional support throughout the process.

​​We offer sonograms in house at The Bump Birthing Center every other Wednesday with Jeff Moody of Moody Diognostics. So you will be able to do any sonograms anatomy scans or optional 3D scans right along with your prenatal appointments without having to travel anywhere else. We have had the pleasure of working with Jeff for years now and our clients love him. We know you will too! 

Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to childbirth. That's why we offer resources for childbirth education classes, hypno birthing, mental health, chiropractic care, pelvic floor therapy and nutritional support. We believe you should be prepared for your birth through your mind body and soul to give you the best birth experience possible. 

As encapsulation specialist we offer placenta encapsulation direct to you. We will pick up and deliver your encapsulation back to you with a cord keep sake at your first postpartum appointment.

Placenta encapsulation can have many benefits for a recovering mom including reducing postpartum depression, increasing iron levels post birth, helping balance out hormone levels, increasing oxytocin (love hormone) to help bonding with your baby, helps decrease postpartum bleeding and can help promote breast milk production. We would love to answer any questions you may have and explain what options you can have concerning your placenta.
